City College of San Francisco
A series of Canvas shell headers for CCSF RiSE’s First Year Experience program, called “CCSF Pathfinder,” launched in 2019. These were used to build out the online classroom created for the program. For this project we collaborated with Jessica Huppi, an illustrator who drafted many of the icons. Visit her site here and contract her for all illustration needs!
City College of San Francisco
A map through the steps of, and a series of buttons for, the CCSF Pathfinder program, a first year experience program for incoming students.
Wedding Graphics
Interactive buttons and illustrations as part of various wedding and shower invitations.
Career Ladders Project
We worked with Jessica Huppi to invent “Tula,” a welcoming host for incoming students (in the brown pants above). These are headers for the various sections of the Guided Pathways Design Guide website (visit the site here), that included such categories as “onboarding,” “first year experience,” “counseling” and “career.”
Assorted Infographics
This is a sampling of graphics I’ve made for personal use and for integration into online classrooms, conferences, and websites: An image about the rhetorical power of procedural rhetoric in videogames, an illustration of the Hero’s Journey, and a rendering of Boluk and LeMieux’s “Metagame.” The final image is a baby shower announcement wherein the mother-to-be, who loves the artist Shag, wanted a Shag-inspired invitation.
“Save the Date” & “Thank You”
This bride and groom wanted a coordinated “save the date” and “thank you” card set.
“Islam: Identity & Culture”
Here is an image created for an online course at CCSF.
Online Classics Course
I’m not sure this informational image for a Classics course warrants inclusion, but here it is.
Pet Announcement Illustration
A message from the pets after a dad’s long absence (really from the children).
